Wedding cake tastings & design Consultations
Our wedding cake consultations are an invaluable part in the process of designing your wedding cake and choosing your flavours. It's when we first start to get to know each other and Rachel can get a sense of your style preferences and personality as a couple so that the important and exciting design process can begin.
Briefly it involves the following;
a general chat so we can begin to get to know you a little better
wedding cake tasting and flavour choices
wedding day details e.g. timings/location within your venue etc
colour schemes
design elements including size, shape, structure, textural effects, floral elements etc
advice on how to display and serve your wedding cake
discussion about the process following your consultation & running up to your wedding day
additional items e.g. wedding favours, cake stand etc.
Our wedding consultations and tastings are £45 which is 60-90 minutes for 2 people and includes cake samples. Following on from the consultation we provide you with a set of tailored quotes and design inspiration for your consideration before deciding whether or not to go ahead and choose us to create your wedding cake.
Alternatively, if you'd like something extra special, we offer a Premium Consultation which involves the development of up to two new cake flavours to suit your requirements in case you have any particular favourites that aren't covered in our signature collection. The cost for this is £90.
